Climate risk analysis in the context of the EU taxonomy
Climate change is already having clearly noticeable consequences that threaten to become even more drastic in the future. Society therefore faces the important task of finding ways to reduce greenhouse gases and adapt to climate change.
Environmental objective 2 of the EU Taxonomy Regulation 2020/852, which was adopted by the European Commission, also deals with adaptation to climate change. An economic activity is considered taxonomy-compliant if it makes a significant contribution to at least one of the six defined environmental objectives and does not demonstrably harm any of the other objectives. The K.A.R.L.®-TAXO reporting tool developed by our team of experts offers a complete climate risk and vulnerability analysis, providing a suitable solution for meeting environmental objective 2.
K.A.R.L.® provides a property and location-based risk assessment and analyzes whether measures against the consequences of climate change are necessary regarding the various physical climate risks. Adaptation measures can be planned and implemented based on the analysis. You can find out more about the risks we analyze for you and your location by clicking on the following tiles.
